There are many opportunities to serve others at St. Peter’s:

Friendly Kitchen serves a delicious, free meal every Monday night to anyone who comes through our doors.  Doors open at 4:45 p.m. and food is served at 5:15 p.m.  Everyone is welcome!

St. Peter’s stocks a small food pantry through donations from parishioners.  The pantry is open Mondays and Fridays from  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and people in need are welcome to take a bag of  groceries.  No identification or  registration is required.

God’s Faithful Stewards are a group of parishioners dedicated to projects that help our community in a variety of ways.  Recent projects include putting together Blessing Bags (packages of toiletry items that are not usually covered by other resources such as Food Stamps or WIC programs), Comfort Cases for children in transition, and arts and crafts classes for children living at Village at Cataumet.  Watch the Sunday Bulletin and our newsletter, The WAVE, for upcoming meetings and activities.

St. Peter’s has a long-standing relationship with the Village at Cataumet, donating a collection of a particular type of item each month.  Some recent monthly donations have included: paper products, school supplies, cleaning supplies, and twin-bed items.  Look for the poster on the Narthex bulletin board for this month’s product selection.
